I love a well-written biography, and this was one of the best I've ever read.

Thanks for the comments!Figgyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02184918452901834604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1863254096032296345.post-49123711037133366022011-02-07T10:36:29.365-06:002011-02-07T10:36:29.365-06:00Weir is definitely one of my favorite non-fiction ...Weir is definitely one of my favorite non-fiction authors. I want to read her book about Anne Boleyn. I also quite liked her book The Six Wives of Henry VIII. Somewhat unrelated, I just finished reading a book called Reality Bites Back which was about reality TV, and there were quite a few references to ANTM (she devoted an entire chapter to it in addition to other references), which of course made me think of your recaps.Jen Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16190007840481900873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1863254096032296345.post-65568480213882504952011-02-03T05:15:08.897-06:002011-02-03T05:15:08.897-06:00I've heard her non fiction is great, but I rea...I've heard her non fiction is great, but I read her fictional take on Elizabeth's early years, in The Lady Elizabeth, and it put me off reading more by her. It wasn't very good at all and I didn't find her writing all that accomplished. It may be that she should stick to non fiction, and maybe I'll pick up some of those at some point.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
